Upscale mall in Gurugram outlet fined, says won’t sell meat on Tuesday

GURUGRAM: Even though the MCG is yet to issue an official order to close meat shops on Tuesdays, a team of civic officials and cops did rounds of the city for the second week in a row to warn and close any such establishment that was open. This week, the team also went to supermarkets that have a meat section and directed them not to sell meat on Tuesdays. At least one such supermart was fined, even though it has received no formal order.
